O hai!
This blog has been silent for a long time. It’s not that I haven’t had a lot on my mind. I have been reading and thinking about a lot of issues, but I’ve had a hard time finding a hook: an opening for the kinds of things I want to talk about. Let’s face it; I’ve got a feral-sapient brain. In a feral-sap brain, everything runs orthogonally to everything else; it’s all Wincester-housey in there; everything is interconnected and tangled up with other stuff… whimsy, rage, joy, and fear; tons of snake-hands and stairways to nowhere…and the more something matters, the fewer words I can rustle up to describe it succinctly.
But I got that hook today.
So, welcome to the reboot of my blog. Coming up next: dudebros in the environmental movement, and what it means for us. And the planet.
PS- What the heck is that with the wild raspberries on my header? I didn’t put those there! It’s supposed to be all Donato-art swirlie-cool-astronauts and stuff. Time to do some maintenance…

BTW since you visited SF in SF I mangaged to get copies of all of your books and enjoyed reading them very much. I am looking forward to the release of the one you were working on that you read from that evening.

Re my studies, yes I have! I finished my Master of Science in Sustainability Management late last fall and recently got my diploma. I was able to leave the day job last fall and am now back to work on the book I read from at SF in SF. I’m about a third of the way into it, and my hope is to have it finished by this coming September.
I’m also noodling around with the characters and worlds that will be featured in the next WAVE book (of which UP AGAINST IT is the first installment)… very much looking forward to getting to work on that as well.
I raise a glass in congratulations on your Master’s and also the news that you are back at work on your novels. Looking forward to reading the new work.
